DESCRIPTION
Duct sealing device
Object of the invention
The present invention relates to a device that is used in the sealing of conduits that is placed at the ends of said conduits. It is applicable in duct installations that are not going to be used immediately, or in facilities that are exposed to the action of animals. Technical problem to solve and background of the invention
In any installation that has ducts, it is a priority to avoid introducing animals and / or dirt into those ducts that can make the use of the duct very limited or even that the duct is clogged and unusable, or very costly to recover. It is essential that the conduits in the facilities that will be for a while without them introducing a cable, or in those that already have some cable inside and access to them is complicated, sealed and the entrance of any element that can damage the conduit or damage the cables that run inside the conduit. For this, devices are used that are placed at the ends of the ducts and that adapt to the geometry of the duct, expanding until the entrance to the duct is sealed by pressure. The devices used have a bag that expands thanks to the introduction of a gas inside, so that with its expansion it presses against the duct, thus sealing it. In the state of the art we find document EP 1614953 A1 which shows a device for sealing conduits used in electric, telephone and similar lines, by swelling an element. Document US 5 901 962 A discloses a device for sealing the gap between a cable and the conduit through which the cable runs through the swelling of an element, but the swelling of this element is produced by manual means. The device object of the invention is used for the sealing of conduits through which a cable circulates, or of conduits that are empty and it is intended to prevent the entry of dirt into them. Description of the invention
The invention discloses a device by means of which the sealing of conduits by the end thereof is performed.
In the device object of the invention, the pressurized air is released from the tank by means of the push-button, with said push button comprising two horizontal parallel walls, each of the parallel walls (9) comprising at one end a perforation and at the other end an appendix that joins the parallel walls to each other and that extends perpendicularly to the parallel walls; and a "L" shaped trigger with a branch of the "L" located between the parallel walls and the other branch located parallel to the appendix. In the device object of the invention, by pressing the trigger branch parallel to the appendix, the trigger is rotated around the perforation and, by means of this rotation, said trigger presses a valve comprised in the tank, thus releasing the pressurized air from inside the tank.
The button of the device object of the invention comprises, in addition to the horizontal parallel walls, the appendix and the trigger:
-in its lower part, a circular skirt; -after the skirt, a flat circular surface perpendicular to the skirt that
extends inside the button; the circular flat surface comprising a through hole;
In the duct sealing device the circular skirt has at least two diametrically opposed grooves, which facilitate the mounting under pressure on the upper part of the tank by elastic jump. In the duct sealing device the through hole comprises a circular shape with a rectangle tangential to the circular shape on one of its major sides. In the duct sealing device, at the junction of the two branches of the "L", the trigger comprises a hole that is placed in correspondence with the perforations of the parallel walls and by a pin introduced by the perforations and the hole are joined the trigger and the parallel walls. In the duct sealing device, the release of pressurized air from the reservoir expands the bag that presses against the duct by sealing said duct, where the bag has a laminar structure comprising a central aluminum foil, surrounded by two sheets of polyamide which are fixed to the aluminum by means of a chemical adhesive, and together with the layers of polyamide, sheets of polyethylene are formed, configuring the exterior of the bag. In the duct sealing device the central aluminum foil of the bag has a thickness between 15 and 30 µm. In the duct sealing device the polyamide sheets located on both sides of the central aluminum foil of the bag have a thickness between 8 and 15 µm. In the duct sealing device, the polyethylene sheets that constitute the outer layer of the bag have a thickness between 50 and 100 µm. In the duct sealing device the reservoir comprises a cylindrical body with one end of said truncated cone-shaped body and the other end comprises a connection head with the push button. In the duct sealing device the pressurized air comprised by the reservoir of the device is compressed at a pressure ranging from 100 to 200 atmospheres of pressure. In the duct sealing device the reservoir head it is connected to the body of the tank through a threaded area located at one end of the head, and at the other end the head comprises a perimeter flange connecting the tank with the button. In the duct sealing device, the valve is operated by an activator that passes through the through hole of the button.
